Who We Are…

Hello and greetings!

We are Kathy and Chris Pondy and we own and operate 480 Woodworking LLC in Anthem Arizona. We officially opened our business in January of 2022 after several years of learning our new craft. Both of us have been lifetime educators teaching thousands of high school students history, government, and economics throughout their careers.

Our love for woodworking didn’t begin with a hands-on experience, but rather because of Kathy’s father, Terry, who was a woodworker himself crafting everything from our kid’s cradle, to quilt stands, bookcases, hutches, and much more. We were always in awe of his abilities and craftsmanship with each piece he made. Our personal journey began as a lark over spring break in 2019 when we built several sets of planters for a garden. We were hooked, we immediately dove head long into woodworking buying tools, tearing apart our kitchen island and building a new one.

Our goal is now to share our creations with you and help you create something special for your home! All of our projects are handcrafted built with high quality hardwoods and craftsmanship. Please feel free to contact us with any of your questions or requests!
